Safari Trip

On Tuesday we went to Kelvingrove Museum to go on an African Safari. Jim was our guide for the day and we learned so much about the different animals. We saw an Elephant, a giraffe, a baby hippo and some dinosaurs(!). We also travelled back in time 38 million years to look at some fossils and talk about how certain animals evolved!

Here is Evan holding a piece of Elephant skin - we were amazed at how thick it was!

After we'd walked around the museum we got to hold various African objects including a warthogs lower jaw, some fossilised dinosaur poo and an elephant's tooth!

Jim was impressed about how much we already knew and Evan was the first person he'd ever had who could correctly identify the dinosaur as a Raptor - well done Evan!!

A great day was had by all!
