We started the afternoon with Mrs Lyon who told us about Scottish Aid for Eastern Europe. A charity which is run by her husband Gordon. Each year he fills his articulated lorry with clothes, toys, school equipment and bedding which he takes to Europe and distributes to people in need.

Next we had a talk from Susie Hope from Mercy Ships. She showed us pictures of the ship, Africa Mercy which is the worlds largest floating hospital. Mercy Ships has helped over 2.2 million people so far and continue to work across the world.

Last thing this afternoon we had a talk from Finlay's aunt Kate who works with a charity in Kenya supporting orphans and vulnerable children. Kate will be selling various African crafts at the school service tomorrow.
