Today the P3 girls used the Smart Board for their maths work (see photos). Steven brought in a Ladysmith Black Mambazo CD with African music on it which we listened to while we copied down our homework words (it was hard not to dance along!).
We finished our Safari Poems from yesterday and Benjamin & Steven got bricks on the wall for theirs about a Lion:
The Lion
On the way to school I saw a Lion
It was a fussy Lion
It was an angry, fussy Lion
It was a sharp, angry, fussy Lion
It was a fierce, angry, fussy Lion
It was a biting, fierce, angry, fussy Lion
And it took me to school then ate my teacher!
By Benjamin & Steven (Primary 3)
Other people who got bricks today were:
Arron & Evan for completing level 1 of their sailing certificates
Kia for getting a trophy from his football training
Robert, Alex & Toby for completing 2 pages of difficult maths questions
This afternoon we wrote our news and went to the computing lab. We tried logging on again (must quicker than last week) and did a google search for maps of africa & african animals.
Remember trip uniforms tomorrow for Gym.
