Today we did lots of work in the morning then this afternoon we finished painting our gourd shakers and made other shakers with plastic cups and lentils - all very messy and exciting!
We got yet more amazing African things for our display today. Arron & Evan brought in 4 wonderful African wooden masks and Emily brought a whole bag of things from her Gran including a lovely copper plaque all the way from Zambia! Emily also had some photos of her Gran in Africa with some brilliant Safari animals.
The little African house was give to us by Mr Jewell who's doing an enterprise project with the secondary to raise money for a school in Kenya, Africa. It looks great on our display desk and we're hopefully going to make some scenery to go with it.
Tomorrow's trip is to Amazonia at Strathclyde Park - I think we are all looking forward to it although there's a few of us still unsure about touching spiders and snakes but we'll try to be brave *bites nails* !!
